Oher will Return For Senior Year
Wednesday, January 16, 2008
Michael Oher made Ole Miss Head Coach Houston Nutt a very happy man this evening as he announced that he would in fact, be returning to play with the Rebels for his senior year.

Oher had previously declared for the draft but determined that he felt he was “leaving some unfinished business”. Nutt now gets to build around a potential All-American candidate at tackle and protect new quarterback Jevan Sneed, a highly touted transfer from Texas. Oher was thought to be one of the top offensive tackles in the draft but will now vie for top 10 consideration going into next spring with a strong senior year.

With attriton striking the Ole Miss skill positions, Oher will at very least, help to stabilize the line and give the new starters some time to work, a huge break for Coach Nutt.
